The project represents an operation that seeks to revitalize an underutilized space in Trondheim´s city center, responding to the current demand for a museum program and leveraging this initiative to enhance the urban public space. The proposal functions as a dual intervention: urban and architectural. The urban intervention is approached by proposing two large plazas with distinct environments: one that will serve as a cultural center linked to the theater and nearby institutions, while the other will be a social and recreational center linked to the residential neighborhood. The building acts as a filter between the public space and the museum space, fragmenting them into two distinct but constantly interconnected parts.
