Krøgenes will become Arendal’s most attractive local urban area as an innovative, and commercial hub with global connections working towards a green future. Making courageous and clever decisions today will make it the obvious hub of skill and competence combined with small scale industrial and mechanical production along side beautiful dwellings. In a mutual collaboration and brainstorming with local stakeholders can we make this a safe and inclusive place to live and work for locals as well as people from out of town. Krøgenes carries the potential to become a pioneering development to inspire others in how we combine light industry, commerce, housing and recreation in a beautiful woven interaction as a sustainable future form of local urban development. In the intersection between the pragmatic, the sustainable and the visionary is where we find Krøgenes anew - weaving a future.
