The proposed solution for the Fagerstrand development tackles all three main issues – densification on nature’s terms, fragmented city structure and dangerous road junction, by taking bold, yet needed steps to ensure a co-evolution and to generate new kind of synergies. It is clear that Skogheimkrysset road junction hold the key to the future development of Fagerstrand. It has a strategic role both in addressing the growing volumes of traffic as well as creating a connecting link between Centre and Seaside.
