Project:
Thunder road
“Thunder road”"What would it be like...if space were understood more playfully, more freely, if movement and being in a space also could mean climbing, reclining, sliding?"Using oblique planes, there would no longer be enclosures or a sense of up and down — squares and buildings would become landscapes and our experience of space would shift to become very active rather than passive.Using oblique planes, there would no longer be any architectural barrier between the fjord to the north-west and the south-eastern hill.Using oblique planes we can MEND the complex urban fabric, by reconnecting its collective spaces and removing social and architectural barriers, to make the public spaces accessible and enjoyable for all citizens.
