Stars and constellation
TA459 - TRONDHEIM STARS AND CONSTELLATIONS
What is a museum? It’s not just another building in the city; it’s a space for meaning, connection, and shared experience. Its purpose is not only to contain objects or activities, but to represent something more: life itself.
As a star in the constellation of the city’s architecture, the new museum should be a beating heart – open, inclusive, and active. We imagined a flexible, transformable space that goes beyond the exhibition. Below, a piazza-theatre; above, a roof-garden overlooking the fjords. This transformation becomes a chance to rethink the city and its monuments, its walkability, and the relationship between architecture and the people who live it.
