AY751 - ROA: A COMMUNAL FRAMEWORK
“Roa: A Communal Framework” proposes a new civic heart rooted in shared life, not fixed plans. Guided by five principles — walkability, integrated housing, intergenerational play, inclusive public space, and community-led growth — it re-sources Roa’s social fabric to form a living, adaptable centre. Modular housing, active ground floors, and shared programs are woven into a walkable framework. Delivered in phases by public and private actors, the proposal supports both immediate impact and long-term stewardship. It is a centre to live in, not just visit.
