‘OPEN-MINDED’ is the proposal to develop a compact and multifunctional pilot neighbourhood. The proposal promotes the idea of a diverse commercial and residential quarter enhanced by a network of parks and public spaces. A compact city composed of overlapping activities is more convivial and can reduce the need for car journeys.The stability of supports in the collective sphere allowed diversity and dynamism in the individual sphere. It is not about parcelling a series of uses but of articulating a succession of activities in a fluent and free space.It’s proposed an archive of domesticity cases where homes are the result of a process in which inhabitants make decisions. The house, not like an object, but a process in which everyday associations are discussed, rehearsed and reorganized.
