Once upon a field

The task to re imagine the area like Hjertelia it’s an effort to re imagine therapport between citizens, production and rural land. More than a sterile effort todesign what to build, the real question to ask is how we need to start building?At the heart of the project is the concept of genius loci in which the project sitefits. Based on that and on the concept of Friluftsliv that best embodies the state ofmind of its inhabitants the project embrace people who have decided to liveharmoniously on a personal, social and environmental level. A productive citybased on values of equity, altruism and conviviality. A project based on theprinciple of circular economy: valorisation of the local identity, a green network,a modern farmland, spaces for community and affordable modular housing.
