More than human

More Than Human’ is a pilot project for a town undergoing large-scale changes. The design suggests an evocative narrative that takes into account the entire spectrum of more-than-human forms of existence.The design proposes a common library of housing and services typologies in which humans, rocks, flora, and fauna work and live together, becoming citizens of the same city. Bridges are green paths that are accessible to animals and humans; public spaces combine forest and farm areas; schools provide outdoor and indoor spaces that allow multiples species to grow together; residential buildings are a series of overlapping spaces where humans and non-humans co-exist in harmony.The result is an alternative to anthropocentric developments that promotes social and biological diversity.
