Krøgenes accretion

The idea of accretion is that something is added onto or next to something that already exists, it gradually builds up and becomes larger, or richer. In Krøgenes this means adding built structures, functions generating activity and greenery next to the existing to continue the structure and strengthen it.

WM080 - KRØGENES ACCRETION

We are happy to present our proposal for Krøgenes. Our team consist of two urban planners and two architects. We have suggested a new master plan for the area with a key focus on small scale developments, preserve and strengthen existing green areas, provide increased connectivity and more efficient land use. Our proposal is based on the term "Accretion" Accretion is defined as “growth or increase by the gradual accumulation of additional layers or matter”.
