The idea behind the project is to redefine the forest opening of Hjertelia by planting a new forest on the borders of the site. The project's initial gesture is symbolic, instead of destroying the natural environment to provide the space for development, the clearing is given form by creating and nurturing the forest around the settlement. The action essentially transforms the existing site, currently dedicated to farming, divides it into three parts and forms three landscapes in miniature, unique gardens with distinct character. Serving as natural meeting spaces: a central field, communal space in the forest clearing, new planted forest at the borders of the project site, and housing courtyards gardens, structure space in Hjertelia for creation of the community.
