Domus Artis et Doctrinae
JT471 - TRONDHEIM DOMUS ARTIS ET DOCTRINAE
Domus Artis et Doctrinae, Trondheim’s future art museum, redefines the museum as an open, ecological cultural centre. It expands the museum’s role from exhibition space to a participatory public venue combining art, education, and community. Multipurpose areas, a visible staff wing, and inclusive learning zones support diverse users. The museum’s courtyard enhances Trondheim’s green network, blending art, biodiversity, and climate resilience. Trondheim's new art museum is a place where architecture, ecology, pedagogy and art enter into dialogue - on a human scale but with an ambitious look.
