Coral
To create sustainable living conditions, the proposal is offering a solution for creating a drawing environment for residents and visitors. The local identity is enhanced by preserving history and highlighting the positive associations and potentials of Fagerstrand. The existing topography with vast height differences has been taken into account with adaptive massing and road logistics, leaving space for human scale areas and places for exchanging and communicating. The new structures create a guiding circulation between the seashore and the city centre connecting isolated areas and nature in a more urban context. New commercial and public activities are answering to the needs of post-industrial megatrends amplifying Circular economy and new public services.
