Belong

The title of this project “belong”, that means "properly relate to”, contains the idea that guided the creative process for the new neighborhood of Hjertelia.This is done through a design process of critical interpretation of the past, reinterpreting the potential of the urban composition of traditional Norwegian architecture.The urban composition and the outside spaces articulation pursues the image of a neighborhood where future inhabitants can feel part of the community.“belong” is a holistic project, every aspect has been considered: from social to respect for the environment.Only in this way it is possible to provide modern architecture for the human being of today and for the future generations aware of their history and the best way to live and respect the environment.
