Art forum
GF145 - TRONDHEIM ART FORUM
The proposal reimagines the museum as a porous, inclusive public space—an “art forum” merging culture with daily life. By upcycling the existing garage, it creates a symbol of spatial sustainability that educates future generations. The project reframes not only for ecological economy but also for atmosphere and identity. More than a venue for two institutions, it invites broader cultural use and keeps its framing open. It proposes a shift from passive consumption to active authorship. The art forum supports plural uses and ongoing transformation. It provokes, evolves, and responds—where programming emerges from collaboration. Architecture here acts not as a container, but as an open frame for cultural reinvention.
