The concept of original wooden houses standing on a solid foundation is standing behind the main idea of this project. A plinth filling up the space of Grensen and creating a surface for new volumes and functions. Everything within a grid following the original structure. Existing houses are preserved and opened to accommodate new needs.The arena, café, bases for organizations and others are bringing life to the areal. Creating a platform for many different activities. All that visible and open to all groups and age categories. Easily accessible. Connecting. Without barriers. Without borders.
