Project:
Ubegrenset
Our proposal is embedded within NTNU's vision of a unified campus, connecting the historic neighborhood to the city's academic pulse. Embracing preservation, we honor Grensen's qualities with the integration of new structures that interplay with the preexistence. We follow a holistic, systemic approach through the use of a grid able to accommodate change and promote adaptability. Throughout this system, sustainability is paramount, from a pavement that includes sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and incorporates building services to the use of modular wood units that include green roofs and energy production. Our design fosters a dynamic, accessible, and inclusive urban campus, uniting academia with the local community while preserving the spirit of Grensen within a sustainable framework.
