The Portal (Portalen): A Hub for Innovation, Collaboration, and Sustainability
The Portal is a thoughtful redevelopment project for the university campus Grensen, aimed at creating a vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive hub for students, faculty, and the wider community. This transformative initiative encompasses a range of essential facilities, including housing, workplaces, a café, student unions, a cultural hub with lecture hall, workshops and exhibition spaces, and a new central square. At the core of our design philosophy lies a commitment to environmental stewardship, incorporating innovative strategies such as the use of recycled materials, renewable energy sources, and sustainable local practices.
