Akrehamn is a characteristic example of an informal developed city, as it continues to expand in all directions without a zoning plan and basic infrastructures. Our proposal ‘Land(m)Åkr(s)’ is based on three strategies. The traffic and parking management which foresees a system of urban landscapes of three qualities based on a strategy of speeds. Additionally certain axes will be strengthened and intensified, such as the axes which will connect upper city/ with the old city through the new multifunctional park. Through the above design strategy the city centre will be transformed to a vival neighbourhood. Finally the strategy for redevelopment the public space envisions the creation of a system of regions in order to establish a network of interconnected landmarks overlooking the sea.
