EF544 - HOST THE PEOPLE MARK THE SITE Lade presents itself as an inhabited centre made up by the harmonious duality between low density dwellings and nature. The project aims to connect to the urban fabric following the transversal direction towards the eastern main road, leaving the vertical direction for more informal social connections. This solution will eventually leave the central area, full of delicate planting and rare fungi species, free from any kind of construction: a valuable spot for outdoor social activities. The northern part of the site will host the nursery home for elderly people immersed into the blooming vegetation of Brownfield site, meanwhile the southern area, at the base of the hill will be dedicated to a housing programme, consisting in different blocks and flexible typologies of dwelling.
